Ready to Read Wellness Ad Campaign

Thank you for choosing to work with Social Status! 

By working with Social Status, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions may change and you will be updated accordingly. 

You = The Client

SM = Social Media

FB = Facebook

Social Status = the entire Social Status team

Overview:

By purchasing the subscription to the Ready to Read Wellness Ad Campaigns, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. You will receive an email to initiate the Onboarding Process. It is your responsibility to book your Onboarding call before you will receive your first script. Failure to schedule your onboarding call will delay services, and no refund will be granted for the delay. Work will not begin, nor will any scripts be sent until your Onboarding call is complete. We will send 2 reminder emails to schedule your call, and your subscription for services will remain active during this time. 

The ongoing Ready-to-Read Wellness Ad Campaign is a monthly subscription of Facebook Ad Video scripts that include minimal video editing and the set up of the campaigns via Facebook Ads Manager from your Business Manager account. The goal of these ad campaigns is to improve engagement, reach, brand awareness, authority and new students to your community and business. There is no guarantee that these ads will directly result in sales or new students for your business. 

These scripts are templated and you can customize them however you see fit to adhere to your business better. We encourage you to customize your video to suit your business’s brand messaging. Social Status does not assist in customizing or making any specific adjustments to these scripts.

Before you receive your first script, we must complete the onboarding process. After the onboarding process is complete, you will receive your first script and you will continue to receive a script upon payment on the day* that the subscription was initially purchased for the following months until cancellation. This subscription must be set up on an auto-payment schedule. No exceptions.

*If the day you purchased lands on a holiday or weekend you will receive your script on the next business day. 

This subscription includes the following from Social Status: 

  • Setting up our shared Google Drive Folder

  • Gaining access to all accounts

  • Establishing an analytical baseline 

  • 1 Templated video script per month

  • Minimal video editing of scripted videos only (1-hour max per month) 

  • Creation of a basic branded Transitional CTA download, on request 

  • Ensuring that the Facebook Business Manager is set up properly including the Facebook Pixel. 

  • Captions for the scripted videos

  • The setup of each Ad Campaign on Facebook Business Manager

  • Quarterly analytical progress report


And the following from you: 

  • Schedule and participate in your Onboarding Session with Social Status

  • Fill out the Onboarding Google Form in its entirety

  • Provide Access to all accounts (see below)

  • Share all Brand Standards and Media in Google Drive

    • Logos (PNG form ONLY - all variations including favicon)

    • Font files (.otf or .ttf files only) 

    • Videos including B-Roll, Intro videos, marketing materials, etc.

    • Video of yourself or a team member stating your Vision, Mission and/or Power Statement

    • Quality photos

  • Current payment method connected to your Ad Account 

  • Appropriate ad spend budget each month

  • Film and record the scripted videos, upload them into the shared Google Drive folder and notify us at hello@socialstatus.ca that your new video has been uploaded. 

Onboarding:

The onboarding process begins with a Google Form to give us an understanding of your business. It is required to fill out in its entirety. You are also required to schedule your onboarding call. This call must be completed to provide Social Status with the access we need to set up your accounts, and to get your ads up and running. 

The onboarding process may take 4-8 weeks of time to complete. This depends on how quickly the information and required content is shared and provided to Social Status.

Once Social Status has access to all the required accounts and we have all the content needed to start (including that you have notified us that your video has been uploaded into our Google Drive shared folder) the onboarding process is complete and we can now take over! You’ll only have to worry about filming a quick video each month moving forward! 

Other: 

  • In order for your ads to be placed, you are required to provide all content from the Initial Process (above). If you fail to provide sufficient information/details or provide low-quality media, the information shared on your socials will not be customized to your brand and stock photos may be used.

  • All photos and media shared with Social Status are considered acceptable to use and may be used in any capacity with your ads and videos. 

  • Social Status must be notified via email when the scripted videos have been uploaded into the shared Google Drive folder. Failure to do so may result in a delay of services.

  • If you want to approve all ad creatives before they are published, you must request this during the onboarding process. If you do not request approval, campaigns will be published as they are ready. 

Access

  • Any access to your accounts must be granted to hello@socialstatus.ca 

  • Access to the following accounts is required for all services moving forward:

    • Facebook Business Manager (Admin Level)

    • Facebook Ads Manager (Admin Level) 

    • Brandbot (or similar) (Added to Team at Manager Level) - need to be able to make some kind of landing pages. 

    • Mindbody (or similar) (Manager Level Required, need access to Reports)

    • Website (Admin/Editor Level Required) - to set up or edit Facebook Pixel, and possibly set up landing pages.

You will not receive your first script until the onboarding process has been completed. You will continue to receive a script on the day* that the subscription was initially purchased (as long as the onboarding process has been completed) for the following months until cancellation. 

*If the day you purchased lands on a holiday or weekend you will receive your script on the next business day. 

From the date you notify us that the new video has been uploaded into our shared Google Drive folder, it may take up to 14 days for your video to be edited, reviewed, approved, added captions and for the ad campaign to be set up in Ads Manager. Until this work is completed, your ad will not be active or added to an existing campaign.

Content, Distribution + Logistics

Social Status will set up various ad campaigns on your Ads Manager. These campaigns may host multiple themed campaigns, ad sets and ads that will all support and fall within your total monthly ad spend budget. These campaigns will never exceed the agreed-upon monthly budget. 

Our Ad Copy and strategy is done using proven techniques. As such, Ad Copy and content will be published without prior approval. Once we have the ads ready, we will publish them. Should you wish to approve content prior to publishing, you may request that during your onboarding process. 

You will be notified via email when a new campaign or ad is published.

In the event that you or your team voluntarily contribute extra content, services or value to these ad campaigns, you will not receive any discount or extra compensation for the services that Social Status would normally provide. 

Analytics

Each month our team will collect and record basic analytics and KPIs from your ads. You will receive a basic report after 3 months of running ad campaigns based on your initial baseline analytics to the current date. 

Account Safety

We do our best to keep our accounts and your accounts safe and secure. Please be mindful and respectful of these guidelines while working with us:

  • If you ever get a suspicious email from a social media platform (ex. Facebook) saying your account is at risk, ignore it, it’s likely spam. Do not click on it. If you need clarification, forward it to us and we’ll be able to identify some clear spam indicators.

  • Meta is cracking down on licenced music. We require your account to be a business account to work with us to schedule content and collect analytics, but unfortunately, that means that the sound selection for Reels isn’t optimal. Regardless if you have a music licence for your studio music, social media is a completely different game and music used in the background or overlayed in videos and Reels will likely be flagged. We will not be held responsible for the content you shared with us that violates these licences and rules from Meta.

  • Do not post shady shit, or advertise with Meta using illegal, discriminatory, political or offensive content. This will get all users associated with your pages flagged. If you ever need guidance on what’s acceptable, please ask.

  • Videos shared with sounds from TikTok videos will either not be posted by us or they will be posted but we will not be held responsible for any problems or issues that arise because of it.

  • If we suspect unusual activity that could put our accounts at risk, we will remove ourselves from your pages and cancel all subscriptions. No refunds will be given for any incomplete projects.

  • Upon cancellation, we will remove ourselves from your Business Manager and any other accounts including but not limited to all Meta accounts, ad accounts, Google, and websites within 30 days.

Human Being Disclaimer

Friendly reminder that we are human beings, we’re pretty awesome but we’re not perfect. Mistakes are made here and there - we’re not robots 🤖. So please feel free to bring it to our attention to edit and correct any errors.

Intellectual Property

Any contents (photos, brand elements, videos, etc) that the Client shares shall remain the property of the Client. Social Status will not use, repurpose, or share your assets for any reason other than the agreed contractual obligations without your express permission. 

Any assets created by Social Status shall remain the intellectual property of Social Status. Upon cancellation, all contents in the drive will be archived within 30 days and will not be used by Social Status in any way unless confirmed by the Client. Duplication of the Drive contents is not permitted in any way unless given express permission by Social Status. 

Billing:

Your Ready to Read Wellness Campaign subscription is billed monthly at the rate you signed up with until you choose to cancel. This rate is locked in for you until you cancel your subscription. To reactivate your subscription, the current market rate will be applied and no previous promo codes will be applied.

Cancellation Policy:

You may cancel services at any time. It is solely your responsibility to cancel your subscription. There is a cancellation link on all payment receipts. Refunds will not be given once scripts have been sent. No exceptions. We require 48 hours notice before the date of your renewal. Any services or campaigns that are currently in the works will be completed but no new activity or services will be rendered after cancellation. 

Upon cancellation, all ad campaigns will remain ON, to continue as ongoing and it is your responsibility to turn these ads off. You may request in writing upon cancellation to have Social Status set an end date on any existing ad campaigns. We will not check in or monitor any ads after cancellation.
